​A week of recognizing Argentine Tango as internationally accepted art form

Tango has started a while back in the barrios of Buenos Aires...However it is largely because of the immigrants that tango have always had that paricular flavor of "longing for your home" and became such a massive social dance movement in the 1930's and 40's.

Argetine Tango Academy of New York and New Jesrey has prepared a special curriculum during the 2 week period in October 2014 in order to educate dancers and tango afficionados on the subject of Argentine culture and music - something so essential that makes Argentine Tango one of the most popular dance forms these days!

 

As our instructors have traveled extensively in the past few years around the globe attending similar events, we are offering a special program to a few selected dancers that we believe are active ambassadors of Argentine Tango culture throughout the world - being performers, teachers, assistants or social dancers they are the very people that keep this art form and unique subculture alive helping the world to discover the beauty of this dance.

 

We will offer a wide range of classes on a variety of specialized subjets available only to those selected dancers.
